The ship is on the road...

Of course the ship is in the water, but you get the idea. We left port today at 2:00pm and have made our way through the Singapore straights. The good news is that I am in the NGO internet lounge and I have just set-up my locker, which means I have access to my computer for pictures and videos - a brave new world is about to begin! The connection is really slow, but I think I can manage. So get ready for some images and video clips. The down side is once we reach East Timor life will get very busy and not sure how much posting I will be able to do.

So we are on the high seas and begining to settle into the slight rocking of the boat. Last night was a trip into Sinapore for some sightseeing and dinner. I was able to grap a shower (stinky john) and get into some clean clothes.

I will let the pictures do the talking pretty soon, so get ready.

Also, drop me a comment if you are following along. Would love to know who is watching!

Eye Eye Maity (somebidy help me with spelling :-)

Enjoy!

John - Great to hear from you. I was getting a little anxious (ok a lot). Can't wait to see the pictures. Hope all is going well and you are able to sleep. The kids are fine - going swimming tomorrow. Mallory and I are going to the library, she needs her book fix (50 or more will do it). I hope this message goes through. I tried sending a GREAT note before and it got deleted. I am no computer wizard (Mallory has been watching Harry Potter). Thanks for all of your hard work. We love you and miss you. Ang

John - This is from Mom (I am typing it for her (Ang). Hope all is well and you do not get sea sick. Wayne lost more money last night at you know where and sleeping it off today. We will be leaving this evening. Ang is fine, still a worry wart. The boys are driving her CRAZY. I had to give them time-outs (JK). Take care and God Bless. Patty

Thanks for the updates. Trying to work through some issues with the PC reading my USB harddrive. Can't seem to get it to work. my thumb drive is locked away in a closet at the hospital admin wing on the ship.

Will keep trying...

Thanks Joanne & Erin for following along.

Yes, spelling is not my strong suit, but that looks a lot better.

Pictures coming soon.
